Tv advertising rules.
ASA - This is because we will be creating advertisements that will be published into the public domain. This means we will be required to stay inline with ASA and CAP guidelines depending on whatever platform it is seen on.
Clearcast - Clearcast is a tv advertisement checking organisation that is owned and funded by eight of the largest commercial broadcasters in the UK, this would enable us if our advert was destined for tv advertisement to have the advert checked properly throughout the process to make sure we were not breaking any rules, this also would take the pressure of the production team if we had help from professionals in the field.
Copyright
The work in advertisement often means we will be using extra footage that we didnt capture, which means we will be using stock assets and for this we will have to make sure that they our completely copyright free or that we have paid a fee to actually use their content, and that we have clearance to use it on the platforms we need it for.
Trademarks and Intellectual Property
Anything that we feature in videos we will need to make sure we aren't breaking any trademark rules as well as intellectual property and if any of these are noticed as a problem that we either remove these items/things or get deals in place that mean we are able to use product names and other things.
