My logo Designs

This design started off as two 'L' and I trialed connecting them by using some rectangles which gives a slight optical illusion of depth. I played around with some different colour to differentiate the layers as well as trying a black backdrop rather than a white backdrop. I also trialed a white and black style on top of a 3.5mm film real backdrop. My favorite out of these four is the first one that has a white background as it feels simple and easy to understand. but I do like the use of the film strip behind the logo as it adds to the fact that its a production company. some of these logos would need to be adjusted to fit into social media profile photos but when it comes down to a website/banner they would all work just fine.

These logo designs took a more shaped based style with simple squares and triangle and differing angles. The logo on the left is my favorite as it stands out and is just a bit of fun with a bright and vibrant colour scheme and the two L's loosely make up an abstract 'P' that ends the full name of Luke Lanham Productions. The logo in the middle is nice and draws on a similar colour scheme to Premier Pro and editing software used by some of the industry. The furthest right logo to me is just a bit corporate and doesn't stand out as being a creative industry, the reason I think it comes across as being fairly corporate is down to the straight edges and the compactness of the logo. The compatibility of all 3 logos is high as each shape would fit into the standard circle logo positions on most social medias.

The First Logo idea is too simple and doesn't have any real resemblance to any creative industry company. The second logo idea is heavily linked to the creative filming side as it is using a common camera setup and incorporating my initials and the word productions. The third has a lot going on with the rainbow spiral that encases the double 'L' I like the vibrancy of the logo but from a distance the spiral lines all merge into one and lose eligibility. The furthest right logo is one that iv had for a while as I made it for my A-level photography and it uses an aperture style that relates it back to camera work.
