Cultural policy affect on my business 

Cultural policy in basics is following new rules and guidance given out by the government.

In 2020 the government was constantly changing advice to company's when the first lockdown came about every company pretty much stopped and that means that new ways of filming advertisement or any creative project had to be evaluated. One way around this is switching to being just a company that edits footage sent in by business at a reduced cost to the clients. If ways of going to locations is found the production will have to fully follow every bit of covid guidance from face masks to social distancing, as Covid regulation and would have to provide both masks and other 'PPE', any shared equipment will also have to be fully sanitised between uses which means we will have to supply disinfectant wipes or sprays to keep everything clean. Another problem with the Covid-19 situation is financing as business who have not been operating might not have the money to spend on productions which will mean a downturn in our finances and clients. Another problem is with every company being in this situation it could potentially make it harder to gain access to funding from charity or even from banks. 

One thing that has been made clear because of Covid-19 is the need for an online presence this could be simply some social media or in the best case a full on online store as when people cant leave there homes shopping switches to online and if your business cant be found easily when searching for the product you receive. For my business this means that we might have to shift more towards product photography and helping be expand there branding side of the business rather than trying to target people towards a physical shop. 

Depending on the size of a production both talent releases and location releases will have to be filled out and signed. this is because they our a legal requirement and once signed yo have full rights to use both the location signed for and any person who has signed a talent release you can use both their voice and apperance. When it comes to signing forms the new additions that Brexit has added from getting talent from abroad with extra forms and details being needed like visa's and work permits to make sure that everyone working on the project is legal. Brexit will have affects on freetravel and require us to look into ways into getting talent and even staff from abroad but over time this will hopefully be ironed out and become alot more simple and in the short term it will force us into having to look more local for talent.
